Stampeders earn first win of season, defeat Lions 41-33 in Kelowna

Vernon Adams Jr. threw three touchdown passes to earn the 50th win of his CFL career as the Calgary Stampeders defeated the BC Lions 41-33 Saturday at Apple Bowl. Calgary scored 21 points in the final minutes of the first half and added a 90-yard punt return touchdown to secure its first win of the 2026 season.
