Stampeders rule out Demery, Hills, Nichols for Saturday rematch in Ottawa

CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders will be without three linemen for Saturday's Week 17 rematch against the Ottawa Redblacks, according to the team's final injury report.

Offensive lineman D'Ante Demery (ankle) did not practise all week and is out. Defensive lineman Elijah Hills (ankle) and offensive lineman Preston Nichols (pectoral) were limited all three days and are also out.

Receiver Reggie Begelton (head) progressed from DNP on Tuesday to limited on Wednesday to full participation Thursday, and is listed as questionable. Safety Derrick Moncrief (hamstring) and receiver Jalen Philpot (abdominal) appeared on the report for the first time Thursday, practicing in a limited capacity, and are also questionable.

The Stampeders (6-8) visit the winless Redblacks (0-13) at TD Place on Saturday at 1 p.m. MDT, one week after edging Ottawa 40-38 at McMahon Stadium.
