TORONTO — The Guelph Storm stayed at No. 1 in the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the third week in a row, headlining the Week 5 edition the league released Tuesday.

Guelph (9-2-0-0) won three games this week and has won nine in a row. The London Knights (7-1-0-1) won three straight of their own and moved back up to No. 2, the spot they held through the season's first two weeks.

The Québec Remparts (8-2-0-0) dropped to No. 3 after splitting their weekend, behind a pair of strong performances from NHL draft-eligible goaltender Patrick Déniger.

The Spokane Chiefs (8-1-0-0) climbed to No. 4 after two weekend wins kept them on top of the WHL's Western Conference.

Two QMJHL clubs entered the rankings for the first time this season. The Val-d'Or Foreurs (10-1-1-0) debuted at No. 5 and the Newfoundland Regiment (9-3-1-0) debuted at No. 10, both off perfect weekends. The Ottawa 67's (7-1-2-0) returned at No. 6 after four weeks outside the top 10.

Victoria, Brandon and Medicine Hat round out the list at seventh, eighth and ninth, giving the WHL four of the ten spots.
