KELOWNA, B.C. — Canadian Hockey League announced the officiating crew for the 2026 Memorial Cup on Friday, hours before the tournament opens in Kelowna.

The crew includes four referees and five linespersons from across the Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League, and Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League.

According to the CHL, the group combines for more than 100 years of officiating experience and has worked major international events including the Olympic Games, World Junior Championship, Men’s World Championship, U18 World Championship, and the CHL USA Prospects Challenge.

Among the officials selected is WHL referee Mike Campbell, who recently worked his second consecutive Olympic Games at Milano Cortina 2026 and was named the WHL’s Official of the Year for the 2025-26 season.

WHL official Dustin Minty, a native of nearby Summerland, B.C., will work his second Memorial Cup after previously officiating the tournament in 2024.

Jeff Ingram brings the most Memorial Cup experience among this year’s crew, earning his third assignment after previously working the tournament in 2016 and 2018.

The tournament opens Friday night with the host Kelowna Rockets facing the Kitchener Rangers at Prospera Place.

The 2026 Memorial Cup marks the return of the event to Kelowna for the first time since 2004.

Round-robin play continues through May 27 before the semifinal on May 29 and the championship final on May 31.

Every game of the tournament will air nationally in Canada on TSN and RDS, with U.S. coverage available through NHL Network.
