Stampeders release Grant and Laulile from practice roster

CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have released American defensive back Devin Grant and American defensive lineman Tomasi Laulile from the practice roster.

Grant, from Flushing, N.Y., played at Syracuse and signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent earlier this year before being waived at the end of training camp.

Laulile, from Riverside, Calif., is a BYU product who played 10 games for the BC Lions in 2025.

Neither player saw game action with the Stampeders. Both were signed on Sept. 14 during the Canadian Football League's expanded practice roster window, which has since closed.

The moves come ahead of Saturday's game against the BC Lions at McMahon Stadium (5 p.m. MT, 7 p.m. ET).
