Stampeders extend OL Zack Williams through 2028
CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have locked in a key piece of their offensive line, signing guard Zack Williams to a two-year extension through the 2028 season.
Williams, 28, started all 18 regular-season games at left guard in 2025 and added a playoff start in the Western Semi-Final. He played a central role in anchoring an offensive front that helped running back Dedrick Mills rush for a league-leading 1,409 yards.
The Winnipeg product was named Calgary’s nominee for the CFL’s Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman and earned West Division all-star honours for the first time in his career.
Originally selected in the third round of the 2019 CFL Draft, Williams has appeared in 81 regular-season games and four playoff contests over six seasons with the club.
“Zack is a big part of our core,” head coach and general manager Dave Dickenson said. “We’re excited to have him extended through 2028.”
