Stampeders sign rookie receiver Dante Wright

CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have added to their receiving corps, signing American rookie Dante Wright.

Wright, 25, closed out his collegiate career at Temple, recording 100 receptions for 1,299 yards and 10 touchdowns over two seasons. He also contributed on special teams with 21 punt returns.

Prior to Temple, Wright spent four seasons at Colorado State, earning second-team all-Mountain West honours as a receiver in 2020.

The Florida product attended mini-camp with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2025 and played two games this year with the Orlando Pirates of the Indoor Football League.
