Victoria Royals hold No. 1 as Guelph Storm rejoin CHL Top-10’s top three in Week 2

The Victoria Royals are still the team to beat.

Victoria held the No. 1 spot in the Week 2 edition of the CHL Top-10 Rankings, released Tuesday, after allowing just three goals on 62 shots through its first two games.

The London Knights stayed second following a 7-4 win over Owen Sound, while the Guelph Storm climbed back into the top three after outscoring Oshawa and Owen Sound 11-1 across a pair of victories. Guelph, which hosts the 2027 Memorial Cup next spring, is trending up at the right time.

The Moncton Wildcats moved up to No. 7 after a second straight two-win weekend vaulted them to the top of the QMJHL standings. The Calgary Hitmen entered the rankings at No. 10, with balanced scoring and six goals allowed through a 3-0 start.

The Medicine Hat Tigers, the other Alberta club in the rankings, sit sixth.
